I've just come back from Glade Festival. Complete with Glade Flu.
The music was amazing. Although rather a small festival everyone was really nice and all seemed to be having a good time. I was a bit disappointed that there was no Bangface stage however there was a hefty good dose of Gabba and psy-trance so i was happy in the end.
The Inspiral tent was playing some pretty trippy music at about 5am every night which was what we could only describe as 'cartoon-trance' it fitted perfectly with how we were feeling by then (wobbly) and went well with the oil slic bubble lighting effect which was projected on the tents, hills and trees all around us.
I drank lots of Chai, ate lots of vegan carrot cake and it was lovley to see all the stall holders and catering staff dancing about on the Sunday. Happy people having happy times smile.gif

So did anyone else go?

I wanted to go - I have loads of mates that went, including you and Baldmosher - but I can only afford one festie this year and Lamb weren't playing at Glade. I haven't seen Sperge in a while, did you meet up with him there? I'm pretty sure he went.

I'll probably be going next year though (I said that last year...)
I can only conclude that I'm paying off karma at a vastly accelerated rate.

Hey, Yeah we met up with Sperge and a few other friends from Bangface and Ravetalk. Their camp wasn't far from us.
We've decided against working The Big Chill as only just better from flu, we're now going to Bristol that weekend instead to sample night life and the Banksy exhibition.
We had tickets for Bangfest but seens as that's been cancelled due to circumstances we've booked tix for the British Superbikes for Aug bank hol weekend.

Christ I'll be glad when the summer is over and we can relax!

Looking forward to hearing news of a Manchester gig though wink.gif
