I'd forgotten how lonely it could be to be a Lamb fan in Ottawa. It's 11:30pm my time...and nobody is around. sad.gif Definitely trying to figure out if I can swing a trip overseas to see my favouritest band ever...

I'm not expecting them to make it back to the states for this tour, so I'm probably looking for the best opportunity to go see them in EU. If anyone has any suggestions, please share!

As far as I know they're only doing festivals from here on in - the Brighton gig the other week was a warm up. So you're pretty much limited to festivals only I'm afraid.

I'm going to The Big Chill in August, and there are still tickets left at Ticketline (£150/US$245/CDN$275, inc. booking fee).

I'm also thinking about going to Beautiful Days if I can find a bunch of people to go with. Beautiful Days is much cheaper (£100/US$165/CDN$180) and will probably be easier to get to from where I live. Tickets are here.

I can probably sort out a tent and possibly camp beds & sleeping bags, and you can kip at mine the nights before/after if that makes travelling easier. The UK should be cheaper than the continent as the pound is very weak against the Euro right now.

Kathleen, you're already on my MSN list so we should be able to chat that way. Drew, my MSN is on my profile if you use it.

I can only conclude that I'm paying off karma at a vastly accelerated rate.

I have a friend in Switzerland going to the jazzrefound show and I've thought about maybe tagging along, but it's pretty soon and I doubt I'll be able to pull it off.

The other thing is, the more I think about it the more I think there will have to be club shows - if only one or two - after all the festivals. There will be too much buzz for it not to happen.
