Currently listening to:

Soft Cell - Non Stop Erotic Cabaret

(remastered double CD version - classic synth stuff!)

Parralox - Electricity

(synth pop from Australia - one of the best debut albums I've ever heard)

Doctor Who - Series 4 soundtrack

(lovely music by Murray Gold smile.gif)

Right now:

Everything But The Girl - The Future of the Future (Stay Gold)
in my opinion, one of the best cuts in the Temperamental album, a collaboration with Deep Dish and some quality, quality house music

At the moment listening to Bis- The secret vampire soundtrack. It's an old single I found when rummaging though my CD collection today searching for cds I didn't have on my PC.
And the sun burns my skin
But its outside and in, its burning
Only you can soothe me
Come cool me down

I'm listening to Bat For Lashes new album Two Suns on repeat. I can't get enough of it at the moment. Stand out tracks are Glass and Pearls Dream. Went to see her in Birmingham last weekend and she was awesome.

Oooh, I just discovered Bat For Lashes - they played "Heaven Is A Feeling I Get..." on Hollyoaks a couple of weeks ago and I thought "what the hell is that, it's BRILLIANT!!?" so did a Google on the lyrics!! wink.gif I was chatting to someone on Saturday night who hasn't even heard the first album (and I've not heard the new one yet). I intend to fix that when I get paid tomorrow.. smile.gif

Alabama 3's "Power In The Blood" album

QUOTE
D-Wayne left the hospital
After being operated on
Couldn't walk
Couldn't even talk
And when they asked his story
He had to get out both his hands
So he signed this song to me
I hope you understand

Cos I got two heads
I'm gonna bang my heads together.
I got one leg
I'm gonna hop to heaven's door
I got three eyes
I'm gonna pluck one out for Jesus
Ain't gonna have no troubles anymore
I ain't gonna have no troubles anymore

I can only conclude that I'm paying off karma at a vastly accelerated rate.

Adham Shaikh's "Fusion" album. HIGHLY recommended, especially for those who like ambient styles and/or artists like Nitin Sawhney.
